This role is involved in every aspect of the production process from receiving to shipping and all points between. We are looking to build a team of higly motivated, willing to learn, adaptive individuals, who are willing to work across areas of responsibility.
Specific duties will include:
receiving ingredients, processing raw material, learning how to ferment/ culture and assess changes in the culturing process, formation of cheeses and learning a variety of cheese styles, aging cheeses, packaging and shipping as well as maintaining the production floor.
Everyone on our team from the CEO and Plant Manager to production team participates in all aspects of work on the floor.
As there is not a wealth of previously experienced commercial dairy-free cheesemakers to draw from, we are looking for people who are open minded, keen to learn and may have previous experience in commercial food production (large or small), food handling, some familiarity with food fermentation, warehouse, logisitics, or environments where a good is produced and made ready for distribution.
Excellent communication, adaptive nature, willingness to learn, are three of the key things we are seeking in new team members.

Salary: Up to $18.00 per hour

All staff are required to complete the onsite health check daily, wear a mask, and maintain physical distancing in all aspects of work that do not require some closer engagement.
