MARINE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

River Marine is a full-service Marine and Power Equipment dealership providing sales, service and parts support. River Marine is looking for someone who is a team player, passionate about mechanics, and interested in joining a great existing team. We are a growing business with a team who works hard but also likes to have some fun while doing it.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for inspecting/diagnosing Marine and power equipment as well as conducting preventative maintenance and repairs.
Diagnose complex mechanical problems, plan and execute repairs, ordering necessary parts and supplies as required.
Advise service manager as well as customers on work performed, general equipment condition and future repair requirements, in a professional manner.
Complete work order reports to document problems and work performed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Experience in repair and maintenance of Marine equipment. Experience in automotive or construction equipment repairs would be an asset.
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to utilize technology, Computer literate – internet use, diagnostic programs etc.
Candidates must be able to work well in a team environment as well as individually.
Most of all have a positive attitude, willing to learn, and have the ability to adapt in a fast past working environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 44.0 per week
