We are currently seeking a Team Leader to join our Receiving department (Warehouse) at our Manufacturing Facility in Edmonton, Alberta.

Job Summary
Warehouse Operations, Receiving and Distribution
- Oversee and participate in the receipt and distribution of all incoming and outgoing deliveries and verify against PO’s.
- Process all returns-to-vendors (RTV's), chargebacks, transfers and damages.
- Comply with safe operating procedures, safekeeping of materials and property, security, and record-keeping.
- Maintain an orderly receiving area as well as the general maintenance of the Warehouse.
- Work closely with purchasing to ensure accurate records are current.
- Maintain efficient flow of production materials to support LEAN production and 6S Standards.
- Resolve complaints or concerns in a timely and diplomatic manner.
- Follow up on work and projects in order to measure progress and address issues immediately.
- Communicate and comply with company, department and safety program policies.
Inventory and Shortage
- Establish workable and efficient inventory systems and controls for all materials.
- Ensure inventory is always current and timely delivery of products vendors.
- Ensure safe working conditions and that all safety and health protocols are being followed.
- Ensure accurate and timely receiving of all subcontract work materials and finished products.
- Properly store inventory according to established methods.
- Ensure timely communications and updates with Production Managers on daily issues.
- Complete all required reports and documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
- Prepare documents for each shipment and ensure that incoming deliveries are complete with paperwork.
- Monitor the quality assurance of finished products and ensure delivery deadlines are met.
Leadership
- Ensure department is appropriately staffed through planning and scheduling per budget and customer orders.
- Analyze work orders and monitor labor hours.
- Supervise and assist team members in daily departmental operations to meet established productivity goals.
- Monitor and improve the productivity of the department through leadership, motivation and team building.
- Encourage a culture that values safety, speed, and accuracy through training, supervision, coaching and performance management.
- Set achievable, measurable, and challenging goals for all associates.
- Ability to handle multi-million-dollar inventories. Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
- Solution focused and comfortable working in an environment which demands robust deliverables. Identify problems and execute appropriate solutions.
- Comfortable with high volume workload with the ability to “roll up your sleeves” and jump in.
- High comfort level working in a fast-paced team environment that is constantly changing.

- Ability to manage receiving operations effectively.
- Ability to maintain a fair, consistent set of standards as they apply to work force.
- Maintain records and documentation pertaining to work force.
Work Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in Warehousing.
- 2+ years’ experience as a Team Leader.
- Previous experience with Manufacturing or Construction industry.
- Proficient in computer skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and database entry.
Working conditions:
- Lifting and/or carrying anywhere from 0llbs to 100llbs.
- Work in a production facility and in an office located in the Receiving area.
- Repetitive movements and work. Standing for extended periods.
- Involves sitting, walking, standing, bending, stooping on a regular basis.
- Walking near to heavy tool and moving machinery.
- Exposure to all types of weather conditions, and dirt, dust and noise.
- Flexibility in scheduling depending on production demands – able to work day &/or evening shift.
