Trimark Windows Corp. (Trimark) is currently looking to add a full-time Estimator to our growing team. If you have a strong attention to detail and can work in a dynamic environment, then the Estimator position is perfect for you! Responsibilities:
- Utilize industry contacts to create accurate job estimates
- Work within company software to create accurate take off’s and quantity survey
- Read and interpret project drawings and blueprints to create accurate project take-off’s
- File and record all project documentation
- Create quotes that allows the company to be profitable and be awarded projects by estimating proper square footage, doors, awnings, special features, etc.
- Review all take off’s and final projected quotes before submitting to the President
- Lead the current estimating team and build the department as the company grows
Qualifications:
- College Diploma or equivalent experience required
- 1+ years as architectural technologist in façade industry
- Experience working with windows, doors, glass, curtain wall a must and railing industry an asset
- Proven experience in creating detailed and comprehensive shop drawings
- Knowledge of European window systems an asset
- Familiarity with Reynapro systems is an asset
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to produce accurate work with a high attention to detail on time and budget
