Front Desk Guest Services / Customer Service
Position Overview
Roller Palace is currently hiring a Front Desk Guest Services Team Member to join our team.
This role is primarily responsible for welcoming guests, processing admissions, handling payments, assisting with waivers, answering questions, and helping create a friendly, organized front-of-house experience.
This is a customer-facing position and is best suited for someone who is friendly, outgoing, reliable, and comfortable working in a busy environment with families and children.
Team members may also be cross-trained in other areas of the rink, including rentals, concessions, and general guest support, depending on operational needs.
Must be 18+.
Primary Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
- Process admissions, memberships, rentals, and other purchases through the POS system
- Accurately handle cash, debit, credit, and other customer transactions
- Assist guests with waivers, check-in, and general questions
- Answer phones and provide basic information about public sessions, parties, classes, and bookings
- Help keep the front desk area clean, organized, and running smoothly
- Communicate clearly with guests, staff, supervisors, and management
- Support birthday parties, group bookings, and busy public sessions as needed
- Assist in other customer service areas, including rentals or concessions, when required
- Help maintain a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for guests
Skills & Experience
- Customer service, front desk, retail, or hospitality experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person
- Comfortable working with the public in a busy environment
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident speaking with guests
- Comfortable using a computer, POS system, and basic typing
- Strong attention to detail when handling payments and guest check-ins
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to stay calm and organized during busy periods
- Must enjoy working around children, families, and the public
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry supplies as required
- Comfortable working in a loud, busy, fast-paced rink environment
- Able to move between departments and assist where needed
- Must be comfortable working evenings, weekends, public sessions, parties, and events
Employment Details
- Part-time, hourly position: 1–2 shifts per week
- Great fit for a student
- We hire 18+
- Hours may vary week to week; minimum 5 hours a week.
- Evenings and weekends are required
- Applicants must have Friday to Sunday availability. Please do not apply if you are unavailable to work weekends. (We are open Tuesday and Thursday nights, Friday - Sunday).
- Staff uniform provided
- 90-day probationary period
Compensation & Perks
- $15.00/hour, paid twice monthly by direct deposit

- Free admission to skate classes and public sessions with a minimum of 10 hours worked per month
