About the Role
We are hiring a Supervisor for a mobile food truck operation that travels to powwows and cultural events across rural Saskatchewan and First Nations communities.
This is a hands-on leadership role combining restaurant management with event-based food service. The manager will oversee staff, operations, inventory, and service while also working on the truck as a cook/expo during busy periods.
This position is ideal for someone with strong restaurant leadership experience who enjoys autonomy, travel, and building systems in a growing business.
During the first season, ownership will work closely with the manager to implement systems and ensure long-term success.
This is a seasonal role with the intention of renewing employment annually.
About Us
Ramsay’s Concession has been a part of the Powwow Trail for over 30 years, serving communities across Saskatchewan at powwows and cultural gatherings. Whether known by name or simply as “the big blue bus,” the truck has become one of the most recognized and well-loved food concessions within Saskatchewan First Nations communities.
For decades, Ramsay’s Concession has operated exclusively at powwows, building a strong reputation through consistency, community relationships, and a deep respect for the cultural events we serve.
Today, the business is entering a new stage of growth and modernization.
Our goal is to expand beyond powwows into a wider range of events while maintaining the traditions and relationships that built the brand. At the same time, we are working toward scaling the operation to support multiple trucks operating concurrently, creating opportunities for growth within the company.
Modernizing our systems, operations, and marketing is an important part of that process. Alongside this modernization, we are placing a strong focus on incorporating Indigenous partners and products into our menu, while also exploring opportunities to develop a retail arm featuring Indigenous goods and food products.
Ramsay’s Concession is a business built on community, tradition, and entrepreneurship, and we are looking for people who want to help carry that legacy forward while helping grow the next chapter of the brand.
