Job Summary
This is a casual, in-office position reporting directly to the Executive Director. The successful candidate will provide administrative and operational support to both the Volunteer Coordinator and the Client Services Coordinator. As a member of our small team, you will be involved in a variety of tasks and should be flexible, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the organization.
- Assist the Volunteer Coordinator and Client Services Coordinator with day-to-day activities.
- Support community outreach initiatives, fundraising events, volunteer appreciation activities, and public education events.
- Maintain accurate records and assist with data entry and filing.
- Prepare correspondence, presentations, reports, and other documents.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and provide welcoming customer service.
- Demonstrate professionalism and maintain appropriate boundaries with staff, volunteers, clients, and members of the community.
- Participate as an active and collaborative member of the SHS team.
- Proven experience in an office environment with clerical or administrative responsibilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
Pay: $23.00 per hour
