Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure timely food and beverage delivery, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Prior experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided to the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS and process transactions including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation quality and adherence to food safety standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with food preparation when necessary and support kitchen staff as needed
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management and prioritization skills
- Address guest inquiries or concerns professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Follow all sanitation and safety procedures to uphold high standards of food handling and guest safety
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant environment, or hospitality preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
- Effective time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales potential

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
