Currently, we are searching for Psychiatric Nurses able to provide counseling to join our team and undertake meaningful and challenging work in a growing practice. Hence, we are looking for skilled and passionate applicants who have a desire to work with a team of skilled and caring psychologists and who wish to take charge of their careers.
The current opportunity is part-time (flexible times, Monday - Friday) for individuals eligible for or with prior approval to work with First Nations and Inuit Health Branch.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Psychiatric Nurse registered with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta.
- Clinical experience or interest in providing psychotherapy to individuals and/or couples. Ability to work with children, as well as adults. Clinical supervision is available on site.
- Experience working with indigenous clients is an asset and cultural awareness is essential. Prior approval to provide mental health services from the First Nations and Inuit Health Branch is an asset. Two reference letters from First Nations and/or Inuit organizations OR 2 reference letters from organizations that speak to the work of serving First Nation, Inuit, or Indigenous populations are mandatory.
- Must be able to work independently and cooperatively within a team environment.
Position: Part-time (no guaranteed hours)
Location: Edmonton and area.
Compensation: Competitive compensation depending on contract terms.
