We’re hiring a skilled, dependable Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support a growing portfolio of high-quality rental properties across the South Shore.
This role will be primarily focused on hot tub maintenance, along with general property maintenance as needed. About the Role
You’ll be responsible for helping keep our properties safe, functional, and guest-ready. The main focus of this position will be routine hot tub care, water testing, cleaning, balancing chemicals, and identifying any maintenance concerns before they become larger issues.
Responsibilities
- Completing routine hot tub maintenance
- Testing and balancing hot tub water
- Cleaning, draining, and refilling hot tubs as needed
- Identifying and reporting maintenance concerns
- Completing minor general maintenance and repair tasks when required
- Performing preventative maintenance across properties
- Coordinating with cleaners and our operations team as needed
- Ensuring properties are in excellent condition for guest arrivals
Schedule
- Part-time position
- Approximately 5–15 hours per week
- Work is primarily scheduled between 11 AM–4 PM
- Weekday and weekend availability required
- On-call availability for occasional urgent issues is an asset
Compensation
$23–$25/hour, based on experience
Requirements
- Reliable vehicle required
- Experience with hot tub maintenance is an asset
- Experience in general maintenance or handyman work is an asset
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Dependable, responsive, and able to work independently
- Comfortable travelling between properties on the South Shore
