BOSS Staffing is assisting our client, a large food manufacturing company in Mississauga in hiring a Food Packager.
This Client is in Mississauga – Hurontario and Britannia
We are seeking a Vacuum Packaging Operator to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring packaging equipment to ensure the efficient packaging of products.
Shifts Available – Afternoon - 2:00PM-10:30PM - flexible to also work nights 10:30PM-7:30AM
Rate of pay: $17.00/hr
Requirements:
- Must be able to work rotating shift
- Must be able to work full time ongoing
- Must have no food allergy
- Must have previous experience in Food Manufacturing.
- Must have working experience with vacuum packaging.
- Must be comfortable to work in a cool environment
Responsibilities
- Use vacuum packaging equipment to pack cheese according to customer specifications
- Label packed products with custom labels for each customer
- Box packed and labeled products and ensure that all orders are accurate and complete accurately
- Adhere to labeling, health and safety guidelines
- Work independently or in a team setting
- Have basic computer skills to access order details and print customer labels
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Other duties as assigned
