Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, utilizing heavy equipment, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, heavy equipment operation, and shipping & receiving processes. The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities
- Perform order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment to meet customer specifications
- Support shipping & receiving activities by accurately loading and unloading goods
- Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems like AS400
- Assist in the movement of materials throughout the warehouse and manufacturing areas
- Conduct routine inspections
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations, including heavy lifting and equipment use
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred
- Proven ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes
- Experience with manufacturing environments or warehouse management systems is advantageous
