Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse & Dock Associate to join our growing LTL transportation team. This position involves loading, unloading, sorting, and handling freight in a fast-paced cross-dock environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Schedule Requirements
This is a flexible-shift position. Candidates must be available to work a variety of shifts based on operational requirements.
Mandatory Availability: Sunday nights, Friday nights
Additional shifts throughout the week may be scheduled during daytime, afternoon, or evening hours. Applicants must be flexible and able to adjust to changing schedules as business needs require.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload LTL freight safely and efficiently
- Sort, stage, and organize freight for outbound and inbound shipments
- Inspect freight for damage and verify shipment accuracy
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (training provided where applicable)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow company safety procedures and policies
- Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification/license required
- Previous warehouse, freight handling, or dock experience is considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
