Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting consolidated financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and executive-level analysis across a complex multi-entity environment. They will have the opportunity to be promoted into leadership. This position is ideal for a candidate who has experience working within organizations where financial results from multiple locations, business units, or properties roll up into a corporate head office structure.
The successful candidate will bring strong financial analysis capabilities, experience working with consolidated financial statements, and the ability to provide meaningful insights to support executive decision-making.
Analyze monthly consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules across multiple operating locations and entities
Review financial results submitted by regional, property, store, or operating unit finance teams and ensure accuracy of consolidated reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership
Support month-end and year-end close processes through detailed financial analysis, variance investigations, and reporting
Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans
Analyze consolidated balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow results, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, operational initiatives, and strategic projects
Prepare KPI dashboards and management reporting packages to support operational and executive decision-making
Assist with lender reporting, covenant calculations, and supporting analysis as required
Support board reporting, executive presentations, and ad hoc strategic analysis
Partner with operational leaders and finance teams across multiple locations to improve reporting quality and consistency
Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, controls, and financial visibility across the organization
Assist with regulatory, compliance, and other corporate reporting requirements
CPA designation preferred or in progress
University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline
5+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting, or Accounting
Strong experience analyzing consolidated financial statements within a multi-location or multi-entity organization
Experience working within retail, real estate, property management, hospitality, franchise, or other geographically dispersed operating environments strongly preferred
Advanced understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Strong ability to analyze results across multiple business units and translate findings into actionable insights
Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and large dataset analysis
Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms
Strong business acumen and ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
