Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist physiotherapists and healthcare professionals during patient treatments and therapy sessions
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile
- Greet patients, verify their information, and help them prepare for their appointments
- Document patient interactions, treatment details, and progress notes accurately in medical records
- Provide basic patient care support, including assisting with mobility or exercises as directed by clinicians
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas in compliance with health and safety standards
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the clinic
- Follow infection control protocols and assist with sterilization procedures
Skills
- Previous hospital or acute care experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to ensure accurate documentation and efficient clinic operations
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on patient comfort and safety
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities within a clinical setting
