THE POSITION
The Accounting Technician will report to our Controller and be responsible for the following tasks:
- All aspects of Accounts Receivable including invoicing, posting cash receipts, and collecting past due accounts.
- All aspects of Accounts Payable including recording bills and issuing payments
- Calculating commissions and deferred revenue
- Update CRM platform with billing information
- Creating weekly and monthly revenue reports
- Complete vendor forms for clients and suppliers
- Fund transfers
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- 1 Year experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Experience using Sage accounting software
- Completely fluent in English (both oral and written)
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Analytical skills and an eye for details
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
Assets:
- Passion for financial education
- Experience using Zoho
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: $45,000.00-$53,000.00 per year
