Dispensing and Clinical Pharmacist

We are looking for a Pharmacist to join our team and provide excellent customer service while accurately filling prescriptions. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, be able to accurately interpret doctor's orders, and be able to answer questions from customers regarding their medications. The Pharmacist will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, verifying insurance information, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications according to prescriptions.
- Advise patients on the use of medications and potential side effects.
- Maintain records of medications dispensed and other pharmacy activities.
- Monitor drug therapies for safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide patient counseling on the proper use of medications.
- Compound and dispense medications using appropriate equipment.
- Provide immunizations and vaccinations.
Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

Experience:
- Shoppers Drug Mart: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Ontario Pharmacist License with OCP (required)
