MIG Welder / Assembler – Hiring Now
Shift: 12:00 NN – 20:30 PM (training) → Afternoon Shift 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM after 1 month
We are currently seeking experienced MIG Welders / Assemblers to join a specialized manufacturing team focused on armored and custom luxury vehicles.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school diploma or equivalent
- 3–5 years of MIG welding experience
- Experience with armored vehicles or custom automotive fabrication (strong asset)
- Background in automotive OEM or quality-controlled environments
- Familiarity with standards such as ISO9001, VPAM, STANAG, and health & safety regulations
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Perform MIG welding on custom armored vehicle components
- Modify and assemble metal parts to specification
- Inspect welds, remove spatter, and ensure quality standards
- Prime and seal welded areas
- Set welding parameters (amperage, voltage, pulse, etc.)
- Operate manual, semi-automatic, and automated welding equipment
- Use flame-cutting tools, brakes, shears, and metal shaping machines
- Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on welding equipment
- Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal components
- Weld in all positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead
- Determine material weldability and ensure proper fabrication
- Operate brazing/soldering equipment for finishing work
