We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swimming Instructor to join our aquatic education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching swimming skills and a genuine enthusiasm for helping individuals of all ages develop water safety and swimming proficiency. Responsibilities
- Conduct swimming lessons for students of various ages and skill levels, from beginners to advanced swimmers
- Follow and implement lesson plans tailored to individual needs and learning goals
- Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and monitoring activities during lessons
- Provide clear instruction on swimming techniques, water safety, and survival skills
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Maintain a clean and organized pool area, ensuring all equipment is in good condition
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating atmosphere that encourages student engagement and confidence
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching swimming or related water instruction is preferred
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate techniques confidently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively instruct students of diverse backgrounds
- Certification in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid is highly desirable or willing to obtain prior to employment
- Passion for teaching and helping others achieve their water safety and swimming goals
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
