Duties
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that stimulate learning, creativity, and social interaction
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Foster a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children’s emotional well-being and independence
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and milestones
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering (if applicable), and personal hygiene
- Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans and educational strategies
Requirements
- Prior experience working with young children in a daycare or early childhood setting is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong understanding of child development principles and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members
- Ability to remain energetic, patient, and attentive throughout the shift
- Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid is highly desirable or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Reliable attendance record with a positive attitude toward teamwork and learning opportunities
- Qualified and Bilingual
- Must have a valid police background verification and first aid certificate
