Position Overview
Remediclean is currently looking for an experienced and motivated Abatement Supervisor to oversee remediation and hazardous material removal projects in Calgary . With operations based in and an additional branch in Lethbridge, we offer an opportunity to work with a company that values safety, accountability, and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage asbestos, mold, and hazardous material remediation projects from start to finish.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and ongoing support to field technicians and crew members.
- Ensure all project activities comply with applicable regulations, industry standards, and company procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, and project teams.
- Track project progress and maintain thorough records, reports, and safety documentation.
- Monitor the proper use of PPE, equipment, and remediation tools on site.
- Conduct site assessments, identify potential risks, and implement corrective measures when required.
- Foster a safety-first mindset and promote environmentally responsible work practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience supervising or working within hazardous materials remediation, abatement, or a related construction environment.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience coordinating field crews.
- Solid understanding of asbestos, mould, and hazardous materials safety requirements.
- Experience using a variety of hand and power tools commonly found on remediation sites.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret project specifications, work plans, and safety procedures.
- Relevant asbestos, remediation, or hazardous materials certifications are considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Pay: $15.00-$35.11 per hour
