We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join our team in the food industry. Duties
- Fabricate and cut various types of meat according to specifications and customer requests.
- Sanitate work areas, tools, and equipment to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Package meat products for sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation.
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure the quality and safety of all products handled.
- Operate and maintain butcher equipment, demonstrating mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain high standards of quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a butcher or in a similar role within the food processing industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food safety regulations.
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation of butchering equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as required.
