Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Threading Technician / Esthetician to join our vibrant beauty team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional facial hair removal services using traditional threading techniques while providing a welcoming and professional experience for every client. As a key member of our team, you will also assist with body waxing services, retail product recommendations, and maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and cleanliness. Your enthusiasm for skincare and customer service will help clients feel confident and cared for in a lively, energetic environment.
Duties
- Perform threading services to shape eyebrows and remove facial hair with precision and care, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Conduct body waxing treatments, including but not limited to eyebrows, upper lip, chin, and other areas as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening to clients’ needs, offering professional advice, and creating a positive experience.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly cleaning tools, workstations, and treatment areas after each client.
- Assist clients in selecting retail skincare products that suit their individual needs and preferences.
- Promote retail sales by educating clients on product benefits and current promotions to enhance their beauty routines.
- Support team members during busy periods and ensure the salon environment remains lively, welcoming, and organized.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an esthetician or threading technician is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that makes clients feel valued.
- Knowledge of body waxing techniques and sanitation protocols essential for safety and hygiene compliance.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Retail sales experience is a plus, demonstrating confidence in recommending products to clients.
- Certification or licensing as an esthetician or threading specialist required where applicable by local regulations.
