Responsible for Repair Team leadership and ensuring achievement of Safety, Schedule and Quality deliverables

Prepare estimates of work using the Bid and Proposal process, and support contract negotiations

Responsible for the application of ISO procedures and standard templates for processes, metrics and lessons learned from previous programs

Schedule, measure and assign work to individuals and teams

Promote and develop business opportunities by establishing and maintaining regular interface with Customers, business partners and suppliers

Develop and maintain Career Path and Professional/Technical development plans, and Success Factors for direct reports

Provide daily, weekly and monthly status or performance reports

Manage issue resolution

Communicate workshop and other tasking operational priorities and requirements across multiple internal functional departments

Monitor and when required, be the lead repair technician, provide team leadership, instruct, and inspect repairs of other technicians on site
Required Qualifications:
-
University Degree or College Diploma
-
3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
-
Demonstrated organizational, analytical and decision making skills
-
Capable of meeting physical demands of the job and Anthropometric Size Requirements for confined space
-
Job requires the applicant to be able to work shift and/or altered work weeks if necessary
-
Possess a valid Driver’s License and ability to Travel for either short or extended periods of time
-
Able to drive a Fork Truck and operate Portable Cranes and other material handling equipment

Strong oral and written communication skills
-
Advanced MS Office skills
-
Ability to travel (5% Canadian, 5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport

Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined workspace
Preferred Qualifications:

Previous supervisory experience
Previous LAV assembly/weld repair experience with GDLS products
