This position requires shift work on a Monday - Friday rotation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in arboriculture or related field (Groundsperson to Climber)
- Air Brakes Endorsement (Preferred)
- First Aid Level 1 (Required)
- WHMIS (Preferred)
- Falling Endorsement (Preferred)
- Knowledge of knots, rope handling, and chainsaw operation
- ISA Certification, Utility Tree Trimmer (UTT), or Certified Utility Arborist (CUA) considered an asset (or willingness to work toward certification)
- Strong work ethic and interest in building a long-term career in the arboriculture industry
Job duties
- Running chainsaw
- Chipping brush
- Helping with ropes and site setup
