Regional Sales Director - Canadian Region

This role can be located in either Canada or the United States

Position Summary: This position will ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues throughout the Canadian Market Region through proactive planning, successful account management, development of leads, generation of NBD projects and closing of quote opportunities. Roughly 75% of workload will be with established customers, 25% NBD, primarily working with Business & General Aviation (BAGA) OEM customers, but also with other industry verticals including Commercial Airline, Regional Airline, and aftermarket areas. Overnight travel of up to 50% is required for this role, and this role can be rooted either in the United States or Canada.

Competitive compensation, based upon experience/skill, will include a base salary and performance-based Variable Incentive. Incentive based upon achievement of both sales and sale-related organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs sales activities on sales accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts.
Provide input for annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams and forecasts.
Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in products, accounts and regions.
Completion of all sales support functions, specifically expeditious completion of CRMi tasks, Updates and additions to NBD pipeline and generation of leads in the CRMi database.
Participation, planning of meetings with customers at trade shows and other Marketing requirements.
Actively seek out new customers and sales opportunities, initiating action plan to advance and procure new business for the company.
Actively seek out New Business Development opportunities and Leads
Travel to customers to further develop sales opportunities
Actively develop organizational charts for customer accounts
Updating the organization on changing online marketing trends so that the organization can prepare and regulate plans accordingly.
Maintain long lasting customer relationships.
Work collaboratively with all the other departments of the company, as necessary.
Ability to travel as required, up to 50%.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing related field or equivalent in experience.
Must have a minimum of 5 to 10 years’ of sales experience
Prior or current experience within aerospace is highly preferred.
Ability to travel up to 50% as needed
Must be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and CRM software
Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills are a must
Demonstrated ability to deliver effective written and in-person reports/presentations
Must be able to manage simultaneously tasks and achieve deliverables and deadlines

Minimum Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Able to drive, fly and use other modes of travel as required
Must have a valid driver’s license in state/province of residence
Driving record must be deemed “insurable” by the company’s corporate insurance carrier
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently
Ability to use standard office equipment
Ability to follow all safety requirements and policies
