Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Tire Technician to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires on a variety of vehicles across passenger, light truck, commercial, agricultural, industrial, and earthmover sectors. Your hands-on skills will ensure our customers receive top-quality service while contributing to the safety and performance of their vehicles. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your mechanical skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Install, remove, and repair tires on various vehicle types using hand tools and power tools
- Perform wheel balancing and alignment procedures to ensure optimal vehicle performance
- Conduct tire inspections to identify wear patterns, damages, or other issues requiring attention
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
- Assist customers with tire-related questions and recommend suitable solutions based on their needs
- Support vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including heavy lifting of tires and equipment
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Requirements
- Dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to tire installation and vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely on a regular basis
- Prior experience in automotive or heavy-duty mechanical work is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed
