Raise is currently hiring a Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our client is responsible for the safe and reliable operation of the Alberta Interconnected Electric System.
Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Description
Reporting to the Manager, Stakeholder Engagement, the Contract Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of stakeholder engagement activities across the organization.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to build experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, and project coordination. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
The coordinator will provide day-to-day support for engagement initiatives, meetings, events, internal and external communications support as needed, and stakeholder administration activities while working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the coordination and execution of stakeholder engagement activities and communications initiatives

Assist with planning and logistics for in-person, hybrid, and virtual meetings, workshops, and engagement sessions

Coordinate meetings, calendars, materials, presentations, agendas, invitations, registrations, and follow-up actions

Maintain stakeholder contact lists, distribution lists, engagement reports, attendance reports, and engagement tracking tools

Support the preparation, formatting, proofreading, and distribution of stakeholder communications and materials

Assist with notetaking, action tracking, reporting, and documentation of engagement activities

Conduct basic research and compile background information to support projects and stakeholder engagement initiatives

Monitor and respond to stakeholder inquiries through shared inboxes and coordination channels

Liaise with vendors, venues, consultants, and service providers to support engagement activities

Provide administrative and coordination support to the Stakeholder Engagement team as required

Support website and digital engagement platform updates

Perform other related responsibilities as assigned to meet department and organizational goals and objectives

Contribute to a collaborative, responsive, and service-oriented team environment.
Qualifications

1–3 years of relevant experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, administration, event coordination, or customer service

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines

Detail-oriented with strong follow-through

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint

Experience with virtual meeting tools and collaboration platforms is considered an asset

Previous exposure to public sector, utilities, energy, or regulated environments is considered an asset

A positive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn.

Education and Certifications

Post-secondary education in communications, public relations, political science, business, or a related field
