The Opportunity:
Canadian Natural has an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst! In this role, you will apply analytical skills while using technology and automation to solve business problems and improve processes. You will be part of a dynamic team supporting business users. Reporting to the Supervisor of the Expense Systems Support, the Business Analyst works with customers in Finance and other departments to implement financial solutions.

Key Accountabilities:
- Support and enhance a portfolio of financial solutions including applications, modules and integrations for the North America and International offices
- Configure software, participate in development efforts, own functional tests, and coordinate the testing (UAT) of changes to the Enterprise Finance solutions
- Develop automation scripts and Power BI reports to enhance and streamline processes
- Perform data integrities and reconciliations
- Help users and troubleshoot issues from the daily use of the applications
- Develop relationships with the users of Finance applications and other departments to address their business requirements
- Lead or collaborate on continuous improvement or project initiatives
What You Bring to the Role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Business; a Business Analysis Certification is an asset
- Strong technical skills in application and systems integration support with the ability to write Oracle SQL scripts
- Experience with Power BI and process automation
- Experience with expense systems, Open Invoice, Accounts Payables Solutions is preferred
- Combination of industry and accounting experience is preferred
- Effective communication skills throughout the organization from end-users to senior management levels and the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly in easily understood terms
