Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Guest Services Manager to oversee the front desk operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves managing guest interactions, supervising front desk staff, and maintaining high standards of service in a fast-paced environment. Multilingual and bilingual skills are highly valued to effectively serve diverse guests and enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate front desk activities, including check-in/check-out procedures and guest inquiries
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and special requests with courtesy and efficiency
- Train and support front desk staff to ensure adherence to hotel policies and service standards
- Resolve guest complaints or concerns with professionalism to ensure positive experiences
- Uphold a positive and collaborative demeanor, fostering teamwork and cooperation
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details
- Assist in coordinating meeting room and catering requests
- Manage market and breakfast inventory and ordering
- Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and welcoming at all times
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience, preferably in the hospitality industry, ideally in a Guest Services Manager or Guest Services Supervisor role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with diverse guests, with multilingual or bilingual skills considered a significant advantage
- Ability to work a flexible schedule in a 24/7 hotel environment
Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
