We are supported by a strong team of experienced family physicians, along with an interprofessional healthcare team that includes nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and social workers. As a teaching site, we also work closely with Family Medicine residents in both their first and second years of training, providing a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.
We are currently looking for Family Medicine physicians to join our growing team. This is a new clinic operating under an FHO model, focused on delivering high-quality, accessible care to the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine patients and take their histories, order laboratory tests, X-rays and other diagnostic procedures and consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
- Provide emergency care
- Provide acute care management
- Vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
- Advise patients and their families on health care including health promotion, disease, illness and accident prevention
- Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
- Perform patient advocacy role
- Coordinate or manage primary patient care
- Provide continuous care to patients
- Supervise home care services

Qualifications
- Completion of an undergraduate degree, medical school, family medicine residency training, and eligibility for licensure in Ontario
- Graduation from an approved medical school and two to three years of family medicine residency training are required.
- Completion of the qualifying examinations of the Medical Council of Canada
