Job Summary
Dairy Queen is looking for friendly, reliable, and energetic Team Members to join our restaurant. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service, prepare high-quality food and frozen treats, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and work as part of a team to deliver a great guest experience. We are seeking individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a positive attitude, and are committed to providing outstanding service. Previous experience is an asset, but we are happy to train motivated candidates. Flexible scheduling is available, including full-time and part-time positions.
Duties
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Prepare food and frozen treats according to Dairy Queen recipes and quality standards.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen, counters, and restrooms.
- Restock food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately.
- Work as part of a team to provide fast and efficient service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and stocking.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and notify management when necessary.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a welcoming environment for customers and coworkers.
- Perform other duties assigned by the restaurant manager.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience is an asset but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and time-management skills.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
