The Carr Group of Companies, B&N Delivery have been providing home delivery services for over 100 years. We are one of Canada’s largest contract logistics providers specializing in delivery of furniture, appliances, and consumer electronics.
We are looking for an energetic, highly motivated team player with a passion for physical work!
Responsibilities:
- Offload appliances by hand using a hand dolly.
- Set up daily delivery runs for the following day.
- Place all cardboard in the compactor.
- Empty all garbage bins at the end of the day.
- Sweep warehouse floors every evening.
- Stack all skids no higher than 6.
- Organize and condense all appliances in the correct appliance row.
- Number and scan out all routes for the next day.
- Ensure all bay doors are shut and locked before leaving.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Use of basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Mature, dependable team player
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- The ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external customers
- Reliable and available to work any day part time Tuesday to Saturday when truck deliveries are determined 10 to 25 hours per week.
- Clear criminal background check

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour
