SCOPE AND STRUCTURE
Performs customer service, and permit-related tasks, consistent with the needs of clients, and in compliance with governing legislation.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Providing quality customer serviceto Permit applicants.
Processing batches of permit applications with detailed accuracy.
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Preparing daily cash balances.
Sending letters to estate of deceased clients to retrieve permits.
Counting and documenting incoming mail to be opened.
Counting, documenting and posting outgoing mail.
Opening and closing of department as required.
Back-up to Parking Permit Program Assistant and support to Program Manager.
Answering phones and handling inquiries as required.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with computers, including customized databases
Excellent multi-tasking, problem-solving and telephone skills
Experience dealing directly with the public
