What You'll Accomplish
Drive Revenue Growth
- Identify and secure high-value business opportunities across residential, commercial, and municipal markets
- Develop and execute targeted outreach strategies for key prospect segments
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations that win contracts
- Exceed sales targets and contribute directly to company growth
Build Strategic Relationships
- Cultivate long-term partnerships with property managers, developers, and municipal decisionmakers
- Represent our company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
- Develop referral partnerships that generate consistent new business
- Strengthen our brand presence in the community and industry
Shape Market Strategy
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and service gaps
- Collaborate with leadership to develop new service offerings that meet market demand
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to maintain competitive advantage
- Provide insights on client needs and market conditions that inform business strategy
Operational Excellence
- Maintain detailed client and prospect records in our CRM system
- Create accurate site maps and project documentation
- Collaborate with operations team to ensure smooth project transitions
- Support marketing initiatives that attract and convert prospects
What You Bring
Proven Sales Track Record
- Minimum 2 years of business development, sales, or client acquisition experience
- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and exceed growth targets
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Experience presenting to decision-makers and closing complex deals
Industry & Market Knowledge
- Understanding of landscaping, construction, or property maintenance industries preferred
- Knowledge of commercial and municipal procurement processes an asset
- Familiarity with seasonal service businesses and contract structures
Professional Skills & Attributes
- College/University degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency with CRM systems and business software
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Strategic thinking with a results-driven mindset
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Valid G driver's license and willingness to travel within territory
