Alpha Roofing is looking for an experienced, reliable Nailer to join our team for the busy season. If you have solid experience on the gun, a great attitude, and take pride in clean, quality work, we want to hear from you!
Wages & Benefits
- Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour (depending on experience, speed, work ethic, and attitude)
- Performance Incentives: Wage increases based on ongoing performance
- Pay Period: Bi-weekly payroll
- Tools & Equipment: All necessary tools will be provided
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of shingle nailing experience
- Availability: Must be able to start ASAP and commit to early morning starts (7:00 AM)
- Physical Demands: Comfortable working on steep, 2-story roofs and able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are preferred
- Safety: Fall Protection certification is preferred (can be supplied/trained if needed)
- Documentation: Minimum 20 years old and able to provide a valid SIN number
Key Responsibilities
- Installation: Install shingles and roofing products properly according to the work order and instructions from the foreman.
- Punctuality: Show up on time to the scheduled job site or designated meeting point every morning.
- Site Safety: Set up and use safety gear and tools in strict adherence to OHS best practice guidelines.
- Site Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized job site by cleaning up debris and hazardous materials on an ongoing basis, before breaks, and at the end of every day.
