Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Siding Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and effectively utilize hand tools. This role involves performing installations with precision and ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. English must be your first language.
Duties
- Perform installations of various components according to project specifications and blueprints
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks such as cutting, assembling, and finishing materials
- Conduct caulking and sealing to ensure proper insulation and protection against elements
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and within deadlines
- Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials as required during installation processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly
- Provide maintenance person services as needed, addressing minor repairs or adjustments on-site
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or a related field
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong skills in using hand tools, power tools, and other installation equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as necessary for various tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Previous maintenance person experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
