Cormack Photography is a growing sports and volume photography company based in Sherwood Park, Alberta. We photograph thousands of athletes each year and are continually improving how we photograph, edit, deliver, and streamline the client experience.
I'm looking for someone who enjoys technology just as much as creativity.
This isn't just a photo editing position—I'm looking for someone who wants to help build better systems, improve workflows, and play a key role in the future growth of the business.

What You'll Be Doing
Responsibilities may include:
- Editing images using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
- Background removal and image cleanup
- Building and improving high-volume editing workflows
- Assisting with ordering platforms and online gallery management
- Helping streamline production processes from photo day through final delivery
- Researching, testing, and implementing new software and programs
- Creating efficient systems to improve the client experience
- General workflow management and administrative support
- Assisting with special photography projects as needed
Much of this work can be completed remotely, with occasional in-person meetings or studio work in Sherwood Park.
What I'm Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
- Is highly organized and detail-oriented
- Is comfortable with technology and enjoys learning new software
- Naturally looks for ways to improve processes and increase efficiency
- Works well independently and manages their time effectively
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work
- Wants to help build and grow a business—not just complete tasks
QualificationsRequired
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Experience using Adobe Lightroom
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to quickly learn new software and online platforms
Assets
- Experience with high-volume photography workflows
- Experience with online ordering or gallery platforms
- Graphic design experience
- AI editing software (Evoto, Pixnub, etc.)
- Photography experience
- Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets proficiency
