Marine Electrical Lead
Our client is looking for a Marine Electrical Technician Lead to oversee electrical installation and commissioning activities for custom marine vessel construction and refit projects in Richmond, British Columbia.

Working closely with engineering, production, and skilled trades teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring electrical systems are installed safely, efficiently, and to industry standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate electrical crews and apprentices on assigned marine projects
- Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot marine electrical and electronic systems
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on vessel electrical components and control systems
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and manuals
- Support commissioning activities, inspections, QA/QC reporting, and sea trials
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure proper system integration
- Procure and organize electrical materials required for vessel builds and refits
- Ensure compliance with marine regulations, safety standards, and company procedures
- Maintain accurate records of completed work, deficiencies, and materials used
- Mentor apprentices and support technical development within the electrical team

Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Industrial Electrical Technology, or other related field
- OR Red Seal Electrician certification
- Experience in marine or industrial electrical environments
- Experience in a lead, foreman, or supervisory role
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and system commissioning
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
