We are currently seeking to add a Business Analyst to join our team

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Business Analyst is a key contributor to the digital transformation of the organization. The Business Analyst bridges deep knowledge in digital systems and databases with their passion for understanding and improving business process. The successful candidate will make a meaningful impact on the continuous growth of the KBL Group of Companies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate, document, develop and maintain process maps of routine business processes.
Identify and analyze current business processes and systems and make recommendations to define new technology solutions and improvement projects.
Design, implement and maintain appropriate and reasonable proposals for new technologies or streamlined processes.
Responsible for impact analysis of process improvement efforts; provides leadership in the implementation and execution of technology solutions to complex business problems.
Work with Business Unit Managers to gather information and effectively capture the complex business requirements to present to Leadership.
Create and maintain business documents for training, systems, and processes for end users.
Plan and coordinate business analysis activities for projects / initiatives.
Prepare and present proposals and project progress reports.
Participate in operational readiness assessments and transition activities.
Provide guidance to Leadership on options for system selection, process design and process improvement relating to new and existing business strategies.
Perform and coordinate user acceptance testing for new systems and software customization.
Manage the software subscriptions, licensing, and hardware spending of the organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems or Computer Science.
10+ years of experience in operational effectiveness, databases, and system improvement.
Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and change management.
Understanding of key CRM and ERP architectural concepts and how they influence design and sustainment.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to recognize symptoms, diagnose causes and identify alternative solutions.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and SQL.
SAGE 300, Power Query, Power Pivot, Power Automate and PowerBI experience is an asset.
Proven project management experience and knowledge in principles and best practices of Software Configuration Management (SCM) in Agile and Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
Excellent communication and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and with external consultants.
Critical thinking, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
Position requires some travel periodically.
