Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cook/Kitchen Hand to join our team. This role involves assisting with food preparation, ensuring cleanliness, and supporting the overall kitchen operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to food safety and hospitality standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food handling, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support serving staff with meal delivery and guest requests as needed
- Ensure proper food storage, rotation, and inventory management
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist in cleaning duties including dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively with guests and responding to inquiries
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is assets
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Background in hotel or barista service can be beneficial
- Strong communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a team setting
- Knowledge of guest services and hospitality best practices is desirable

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
