JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Sr Operations Manager, the Customer Relationship Supervisor is responsible for providing specialized support to customer and operations at the Leek Facility
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain close interaction with the customer and develop strong customer relationships to deliver service requirements.
- Act as a liaison between OPSCS and the customer and report customer feedback to management, including any signs of customer dissatisfaction or concerns, service failure discoveries, projects or rush orders, claims, and damages.
- Responsible and act as a liaison for all third-party carriers as required.
- Troubleshoot with the customer, carrier, and operations team to resolve any issues that arise with transmissions, carrier performance, load planning discrepancies. and escalate when necessary.
- Follow up and support the operations team and the customer for any changes or updates to orders or process.
- Supervise the team at the Leek facility and ensuring all inbound/outbound activity are performed as per service level expectations.
- Responsible for conducting daily coaching and annual performance reviews for their team. Ensure team members are recognized for their good performance and handling disciplinary situations appropriately.
- Monitor and manage workload levels for the inventory and logistics control functions, ensuring workflow for the department meets customer deadlines.
- Manage facility maintenance and relationship with the property management at Leek.
- Report and invoice client for all monthly charges.
- Applies specialized knowledge about the customer and the company to make informed decisions and problem-solve.
- Maintain current and accurate SOPs and work instructions for related work under their control.
- Prepare any reports and KPI’s requirements as required by the company and the customer.
- Promote a clean, safe, and positive work environment.
- Support continuous improvement opportunities and the on-going review of operational processes with the team, encouraging the identification and/or suggestions of improvement ideas.
- Assumes additional related responsibilities as required.
EXPERIENCE
- Two years of supervisory experience working in a logistics supply chain environment preferably at a 3PL.
- Bilingual in English and French as asset preferred.
EDUCATION
- Post Secondary education with an emphasis on supply chain management or the equivalent in experience.
