What You’ll Do
At Island Health, Combined Laboratory/X-Ray Technologists work closely with interdisciplinary teams in fast-paced healthcare environments where their expertise, accuracy, and collaboration directly support real-time clinical decisions every day. Your responsibilities and duties include:
- receiving and completing requisitions, forms and reports
- monitoring patients
- performing general imaging procedures, as qualified, including archiving acquired images
- carrying out routine Laboratory and ECG testing, as qualified
- utilizing computerized patient data systems
- preparing and monitoring supplies and equipment.
What You Will Need to Apply
- Graduation from a recognized combined Laboratory/ Medical Radiography Technician Program.
- One year of recent, related experience (or equivalent).
