Job Overview
We are seeking a service manager with a minimum of 10 years field experience with HVAC/R red seal certification. The successful candidate will be an experienced Service/Operations Manager and will oversee our daily operations and ensure the efficiency of our business processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team, optimizing operational workflows, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance productivity and quality. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive performance improvements across various departments. It also requires minimum of 10 years field experience with HVAC/R red seal certification.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals.
- On call by phone to all technicians 24/7 for tech support/field support for any refrigeration/HVAC issues that arise.
- Manage daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare reports for senior management.
- Identify areas for improvement in operational processes and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement through training and development initiatives.
- Works with General Manager to set customer satisfaction targets and ensure that they are met.
- Participates in Safety Committee, if applicable, or alternatively acts as Management Safety designate, ensuring that all work conforms to quality and safety standards.
- Provides leadership and support to the Installation and Service Teams.
- Hires and retains top performing staff.
- Ensures that staff is adhering to company policies including but not limited to uniforms, professionalism, and safety.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, etc.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience in managing teams effectively.
- Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics to drive decision-making.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on process optimization.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Service software experience required
- Requires minimum of 10 years field experience with HVAC/R red seal certification.
- Additional management training courses with good working knowledge of P&L, Inventory, Budgets, and financial statements a must.

Pay: $140,000.00-$200,000.00 per year
