AZ/DZ SALT TRUCK DRIVERS for Industrial / Commercial snow removal.
Note this is a seasonal on call position...great for those looking to supplement winter layoff income...

Hourly rate $29.00-$31.50
Performance bonus is guaranteed biweekly provided you are available for every call out till end of contract.
REQUIREMENTS:
Available (On Call) 24 Hours/7 Days a Week for all Snowfalls from November 15, 2024 through to April 14, 2025
Must be able to complete each shift without any obligations is a must.
Valid AZ/DZ License with a clean driver's abstract (No Major Infractions)
Min 25 years of age and older
Min 2 year driving experience as AZ/DZ driver
Prior heavy truck experience i.e. (Dump, Rolloff, Cement) etc.
Ability to operate manual shift 8 speed transmission
Personal transportation to our yard
Reliable and able to respond to any snow event without conflict of interest
Able to work irregular shifts and extended hours as required.
Thorough knowledge of main streets throughout the GTA
Mechanically inclined
Good communication and handwriting skills to produce reports
Prior snow removal, plowing, salting experience an asset, but not essential. Will provide training to those who possess the general skills required.
