Part-Time Sub Contractor Needed. Team Members are paid per dog walk.
We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, dog lover that resides in the Tri-Cities to join our dog care team at Muttallica as a sub contractor. This role involves providing attentive and compassionate dog walking services to clients, ensuring dogs receive exercise, companionship, and care in a safe and enjoyable manner.
The ideal candidate will have dog experience and knowledge, patience, excellent customer service skills, and a responsible attitude to meet the needs of both pets and their owners. We walk dogs of all breeds, sizes and natures so its important that all applicants have worked with dogs and have basic knowledge of dog behaviour.
Duties
- Take dogs on scheduled walks in various neighborhoods or designated areas, ensuring safety at all times
- Provide companionship and basic care during walks, including giving water & treats
- Take content (photos & videos) to put on our Instagram page documenting your day hanging with the dogs
- Maintain a clean and safe walking environment, picking up dog waste
- Communicate with pet owners regarding walk updates, behavior, or any concerns during visits
- Follow specific instructions for each pet’s needs and preferences provided by clients
Requirements
- Passion for animals and genuine love for dogs
- Must be able to walk rain or shine
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with pet owners
- Reliable vehicle that you are able to transport dogs in
- Ability to handle dogs of various sizes, breeds and temperaments safely and confidently
- Responsible, punctual, and attentive to detail
- Must live locally in the Tri-Cities
- Must have a general knowledge of how to operate Instagram
Our daily operations are: Monday to Friday from approximately 8:30AM- 3:00PM (dependant on the day)
We walk the dogs on-leash only, with the exception of special owner permission to have them off leash in a fully fenced area.
We are closed on all weekends & holidays.
There are sometimes requests from our clients for weekend walks. This is an additional way to earn extra pay if you are available, but it’s not a requirement.
Muttallica offers dog boarding services for when dog owners are away from home. This is an additional way to earn extra pay if you are available to care for a dog in your home, or stay at one of our owners homes to care for their dog.

Pay: $19.00-$76.00 per hour
