We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Labourer to join our mailbox installation crew. This position involves installing community mailboxes at locations throughout the province. Some travel is required, and projects may involve extended workdays to meet project deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of mailboxes.
- Assist other crews (backfill or landscaping) when required.
- Prepare installation sites, including digging.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, equipment, and tools.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow project plans, safety procedures, and supervisor instructions.
- Travel to various work sites as required.
Requirements
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs or more.
- Comfortable performing outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours when required.
- Construction, landscaping, fencing, or general labour experience is an asset.
- Valid driver's licence is required.
- Experience pulling and backing up a trailer is an asset.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment.
