Duties
- Assist with food preparation by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients for various Thai dishes
- Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs to ensure timely meal service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including utensils, equipment, and work stations
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Serve food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring presentation standards are met
- Support with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying staff of low stock items
- Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold a safe working environment for team members and guests
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and repetitive movements
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and good communication abilities
