Superior Power Products Limited (SPPL) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting & Inventory Coordinator to support our finance and operations teams. This role is responsible for assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory control activities, and general administrative duties. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial and inventory records while supporting day-to-day business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices and ensure accurate coding and entry into the accounting system.
- Assist with vendor inquiries and statement reconciliations.
- Support weekly payment runs and accounts payable aging reports.
- Complete payment schedules and issue vendor payments.
Accounts Receivable
- Assist with customer invoicing and ensure timely delivery of invoices.
- Apply customer payments and maintain accurate customer records.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and support collection follow-up activities.
- Maintain accounts receivable aging schedules.
Inventory Control
- Help maintain accurate inventory records in collaboration with operations staff.
- Support cycle counts and physical inventory counts, reconciling discrepancies as required.
- Monitor inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in identifying and implementing improvements to inventory control processes.
General Administration
- Provide administrative support as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory control, or bookkeeping is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting and ERP systems is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
