Abutment Direct Inc. is a specialty wholesale supplier of medical devices and equipment to dentists, dental laboratories and denturists across Canada. We’re looking for an ambitious sales professional to build on our solid base of business in British Colombia and grow the business through strong selling efforts and outstanding customer care. This position is based in the British Colombia, with territory responsibility for BC and daily travel by car throughout the sales territory. Overnight travel: 10%
Job Duties:
Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers.-Reach and exceed sales objectives through the application of effective selling and organizational skills-Provide technical support and train customers on the use of products-Keep management informed by submitting monthly and annual territory analyses.-Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.-Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.-Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.-Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks.
Sales Representative Skills and Qualifications:
Prospecting and closing skills-Customer Service, meeting and exceeding sales goals, territory management, negotiation, self-confidence, technical product knowledge, presentation skills, client relationships, motivation for sales.-Previous experience selling in the dental industry is an asset but not a requirement.-Dental technical knowledge is an asset. Previous sales experience (3-5 years minimum) is a requirement for those candidates without dental technical knowledge.
Education:
Completed College or University degree/diploma.
